Leading Safe Teams: Psychosocial Safety in Practice
Overview
Designed for leaders and teams navigating complex work environments, this reflective program builds the knowledge, confidence and practical tools needed to recognise psychosocial hazards, respond to workplace pressure and support team wellbeing.
Participants explore common psychosocial risks, including workload pressure, exposure to distress, aggression, isolation, role conflict, poor support, moral distress and burnout. The program also examines moral injury, including situations where staff feel compromised or unable to deliver the quality of work, care or service they believe is needed.
The program is tailored to the organisation’s sector, workforce and operating context. Through facilitated discussion, reflective activities and scenario-based learning, participants strengthen their approach to communication, debriefing, boundary-setting, supportive supervision and practical responses to team distress.
