Overview

Designed for aged care settings, this training helps staff connect the Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards and Statement of Rights with everyday care, communication and decision-making.

 

Participants explore how diversity, dignity, respect, choice, cultural safety and person-centred care show up in practice. Through case studies, discussion and reflective activities, the session supports staff to strengthen inclusive care and respond more confidently to the diverse needs and experiences of older people.
