Our Story

Diversity Training and Consulting (DTC) was established to move inclusion work beyond good intentions and into meaningful, actions and lasting impact. We help organisations dismantle barriers, create inclusive environments, and embed equity into the everyday. What sets us apart is our ability to bring fresh thinking, creativity, and energy to complex challenges. We're collaborative problem-solvers who bring clarity, enthusiasm, and a new lens to your inclusion goals.

We are driven by an intersectional approach with our work focusing on systems, not just symptoms to partner with clients to create change that lasts. With over 15 years of experience across aged care, health, education, community services, government, and professional sectors, we combine strategic insight with deep frontline understanding. From coaching to consulting, facilitation to resource design, we work across the full equity, diversity, inclusion and belonging spectrum.

How We Work
Our approach is practical, collaborative, and designed to create real change. We bring energy, clarity, and curiosity to every project, asking the right questions, working alongside your team, and tailoring solutions that suit your goals, people, and context.
We specialise in applying an intersectional lens to our work, ensuring that power, privilege, and inequality are recognised, understood, and meaningfully addressed in every project. We take a strengths-based perspective, seeing diversity as an asset and inclusion as essential to quality, safety, and organisational success.

We work across the employee lifecycle and client journey. Supporting leaders, teams, and frontline staff to embed inclusive practice into everything they do.

At DTC we:
-
Centre the lived experiences of people most impacted by inequality
-
Take time to understand your organisation’s goals, context, and constraints
-
Use behavioural science principles to support long-term change
-
Translate complex ideas into accessible, engaging, and usable tools
-
Work with you—not to you—through coaching, reflection, and co-design
-
Align services with sector standards, funding obligations, and compliance framework
