Respect @ Work
Promoting Gender Equality & Preventing Sexual Harassment

Overview

Creating safer and more respectful workplaces requires more than awareness. This workshop builds participants’ understanding of gender equity, respectful workplace behaviour and the proactive steps required to prevent sexual harassment at work.

The session introduces Respect@Work obligations, explores legal and organisational responsibilities, and supports participants to understand how everyday behaviours, systems and workplace cultures can either reduce or increase the risk of harm. Through case studies, group discussion and scenario-based activities, participants examine the complexities of workplace harassment, practise bystander intervention strategies and reflect on how they can contribute to a safer, more respectful and equitable workplace.

Optional follow-up reflective practice sessions are available to embed learning, strengthen confidence and support ongoing behaviour change.
